    You Got To Let It Go

     It bogs you down like a heavy weight
    More than you'll ever know,
    I'm talking about things you carry around
    Those things you have to let go.

    Those things you allow to steal your joy 
    Those things that steal your peace,
    If you don't let go one thing I know,
    Your pains in life increase.

    Those things that feed your mind with doubt
    Those people you can live without,
    Those habits you have that are out of control
    Are things you've got to let go.

    Sometimes we walk in great denial
    Like it's really not all that bad,
    But if you let go you'll feel real joy
    A joy you have never had.

    Why put yourself through all that stess,
    All the stress and emotional pain,
    Stop right now and give it ALL to the Lord
    In His hand it won't happen again.

    So Lord I pray please give me strength,
    I know what I MUST do,
    If I don't learn now how to let things go
    My peace of mind is through.

    I need to feel Your love O Lord 
    No more heaviness and no more pain,
    I've got to have you fully in my life
    So I can feel joy again.
