A Tribute to Mom
Though we don’t see each other as we should
Cause we live many miles apart,
You will always mean so much to me
In a very special place in my heart.
Thoughout my life I’ve wanted to give you
The best there is to give,
And that goal will go on and on
As long as you shall live.
I remember all the things you’ve done for me
So many things over the years,
You’ve done so much of it on your own
And still you hid the tears.
All you’ve been through and done for me
To give your son a life,
I’ve sensed very little all that time
Your struggling and your strife.
I guess that’s because you always relied
On God, His protection and care,
That faith transferred into life
Now I feel His love everywhere.
After all this I will never say
“Mom had no effect on me”,
Thank you, Mom, for all you’ve done
For who I’ve come to be.
