    Depression, You've Got to Go!

     Depression you've got to go
    I know what you're trying to do
    You're trying to steal all of my joy
    And get the credit back to you.

    Well I got some news to share with you
    No matter how bad I feel,
    You'll never take my joy in the Lord
    Cause let me tell you right now - that is for real.

    Feeling O so down I'm losing all my hope
    But I know now that it’s really all a lie
    You even try to take away my reason to stay alive
    My love for Him is the real reason why. 

    Sometimes  I awake feeling oh so weak
    Don't even know how I can make it through the day.
    Struggling to hold on, body racked with pain
    I call to Jesus,  "Lord please show me the way."

    Everytime I call the name above all names 
    I know Jesus is  by my side,
    I have come to learn depression is a lie
    So the devil has no place to hide.

    Hiding in the darkness I feel my mind slip
    Away from God and the power I have within,
    But now I truly know how Christ, He cares for me
    And depression will never taunt me again.

    So what I have to do is give Him all the praise
    No matter how I feel praise  saves the day,
    It always brings to mind tbe piece I'm trying to find
    Is through Jesus Christ who is THE ONLY WAY.
