Walk in Your Authority

One thing we must never forget
Is to use our power within,
The authority Jesus gave to us 
To face EVERY challenge and win.

Don't let the devil knock you down 
He's really all bark and no bite,
Call on the name of Jesus 
Who protects us day and night.

Capture every thought not of God
Is what we're talking about,
Don't let those negative thoughts come in
Rebuke them , bind them, cast them out.

What good is the power He gave to us
The authority we have to use,
For if we never use that gift
In the world we'll surely lose.

Remember who you are in Christ
And USE your authority,
"Be doers of the word and not hearers only"
To walk in victory. 

I write these words to remind us all
Don't waste our power within,
Staying connected to Jesus Christ
Is KNOWING we will ALWAYS win.
