Looters, Stop Fueling the Fire!
Looters stop feuling the fire with unrestWhen you really don't give a hoot,
You don't care about what is really going on
You just need a reason to loot.
The cause is real, "Black Lives do Matter"
When we march for change, that's real,
But a looter disrespects every part of the cause
Cause their only drive is to steal.
A looter is a thug who uses unrest
To give them a reason to steal,
If they used that energy to support the cause
That choice could help us ALL to heal.
Looters, don't you see you're a bigger problem
You steal focus from our cry for change,
Looting and burning even businesses who care
And you don't even see that as strange,
Looters, get a grip with your selfish ways
We'll protest until we've won,
But your criminal acts of violence and destruction
Taints the progress of all we have done.
So looters we don't need your reckless ways
Of violence as we seek to heal,
Your criminal ways undermine our goal
And increases the frustration we all feel.
