    We Can't Give In To Fear

     We cannot give in to the spirit of fear
    And let it steal our peace,
    Cause if we listen to the devil's lies
    All of our joy will cease.

    We cannot give in to the spirit of fear
    And let it ruin our life,
    Either we fight and speak God's Word
    Or live in pain and strife.

    We cannot give in to the spirit of fear
    That can rip us apart within,
    It can turn our peace into panic
    Even drive us back to sin.

    We can't sit back and let fear win
    We got to stop it in it's tracks,
    Using the power that we have within
    Shows  the devil everything he lacks.

    The buck stops here - can't take no more
    I'm tired of the devil's schemes,
    I'm praising God not matter what I face
    No matter how hard it seems.

    Lord, I keep my eyes on you
    Through fear of EVERY kind,
    For You did not create a sprit of fear
    "But of love, power and sound mind."

    I don't like the word cause it should be because.What is the devil all about. Fairy tales.Talking to a God that doesn't exist is weird

    Hey fitz houston09, hes angry at the world. I think he does believe but is really devestated right now. Cuz if ya go to his page, you will see he wrote a poem about losing his 3 month old son.

    Great poem!! Took the words right outta my mouth. Exactly the way i feel. We say that we wont let satan in no more but then some reason at least me anyways, end up always fiving in not realizing. But i think God knows our hearts even though our minds arent always on board.

    So True! The battle is real and ongoing, but you also hit the nail on the head when you said that God knows our heart, amen.
