    Will There Ever Be a Time?


    Will there ever be a time when the world’s at peace

    Where there’ll be no need to fight?

    Or must the battles go on and on

    Never proving who’s really right?

     

    The fight for oil or even our rights

    For weapons of mass destruction,

    Is fed by those who feel that war

    Is the solution to world corruption.

     

    Corruption that’s caused by a different look

    At life the way we see it.

    Differences can be solved a better way

    If we take the time to achieve it.

     

    For who’s to say who’s right or wrong

    If thousands have to die,

    Misunderstandings might have been avoided

    If everyone really tried.

     

    War is fed by a lack of trust

    That is driven by our hate.

    The problem ahead if wars go on

    For earth it’ll be too late.
