When the World Knocks You Down

When the world knocks you down, the Word can pick you up
But YOU have to make a choice,
Do you believe in who you are in Christ
Or give in to the worldly voice?

The voice in the world will bring you down
And fill you heart with doubt,
It'll try to make you believe those lies
So you won't try to find a way out.

Out of the chaos  and confusion in this world
Out of your pain and strife,
The devil is focused on only one thing
He's trying to destroy your life.

When the world knocks you down, the Word can pick you up
If you choose to use your power within,
But if you don't use it, you invite the devil in
And he'll start attacking again.

When the world knocks you down, the Word can pick you up
That should be an easy choice,
But if you don't choose to walk in God's word
You'll soon give in to the world's voice.
