But God!

There comes a time in your life
When you don't know what to do,
Doors are closing at every turn
And in your eyes you're through.

But there's no reason to give up now
Cause you think you're against all odds,
But when God puts His hand on you
You can only smile and say, "But God!"

But God means you understand
His power and His might,
Doesn't matter what kind of battle you face
With Him you always win the fight.

"But God" slaps the devil upside his head
"But God" is a form of praise,
"But God" is bragging about all God's done
In your life in so many ways.

God will have you word your testimony
In a way that seems quite odd,
When noone can figure out how you made it through
All you have to say is, "But God!"
