Does The Lord Have to Make You Stand Still?

Telling some to rest and take time for the Lord
Is so against their will,
But there will come a time in their life
When God will make you stand still.

So busy ripping and racing  in life
That you can't even hear God's voice,
But when the Lord decides to knock you down
You really don't have a choice.

Not just being still in body
But in spirit and soul as well,
Better take heed to what the Holy Spirit says
Or your life will be a living hell.

Walking in fear because the devil lies
To make you feel you've lost your Holy Ghost power,
But there is NOTHING he can do to steal your salvation
Forever sealed in our strong tower.

In stillness He'll guide you and help you learn
What the Lord wants you to do,
The Holy Spirit within is never wrong
And will always see you through.

Does the Lord really have make you stand still
Before you finally get a clue,
You keep falling doing everything by yourself
But with Him He will ALWAYS come through.
