You Cannot Do It Alone

Why are you trying to do My job
What creation did you create?
My ways are so far above your ways
You'll never really truly relate.

This battle you're fighting is bigger than you
You can give your all if you must,
But why not put in My mighty hand
And fulfill "In God we trust."

You're not a wimp if you call on Me
When things get out of hand,
I wish you'd stop trying to do My job
For my thoughts you can't understand.

You cannot do it alone, my child
You need me at every turn,
Sometimes I even have to slow you down
In hope that you'll soon learn.

That I am the Alpha and Omega
The One in charge of it ALL,
And as soon as you do put your trust in Me
Once again you will walk tall.

For I am your teacher, your healer, 
Deliverer and provide ALL that you need,
I can touch your life in such a way
That in everything you will succeed.

So stop running like a chicken with it's head cut off
Like you really know what to do,
In ALL YOUR WAYS acknowledge Me
And you'll see I ALWAYS come through.
