    I've Got to Stand Still

     Shh stand still, shh stand still
    And see the salvation of the Lord,
    The only way to quiet my mind
    Is to be with the Lord on one accord.

    Fear, anxiety, frustration and depression
    Create much noise in my mind,
    I keep reading about God's perfect peace
    Peace I have yet to find.

    But that's because I can't - can't stand still
    Life's pulling me at every turn,
    But I gotta slow down and find the Lord
    Or in hell I'll surely burn.

    Shh stand still, I've  gotta to stand still
    Lord I know I have much to learn
    To learn how to walk like a child of God
    A walk I've yet to earn.

    Stand still my soul, I need right now
    For You, Lord, to quiet my life,
    For I already know with you in my heart
    You'll take way the pain and strife.
