    I Enter This Year Without Any Fear

     I enter this year no longer in fear
    But my heart is filled with praise,
    For now I know who I am in Christ
    Who protects me in so many ways.

    He give me nothing but perfect peace
    When my "mind is stay on Thee,"
    I have no fear instead I'm filled with joy
    When I am where I'm suppose to be.

    Abiding "under the shadow of the Almighty"
    Is where I want to stay,
    To pull me through EVERY atttack on my mind
    That taunts me EVERY day.

    For you see I am in the world but not of this world
    All the chaos that lies within,
    I can see corruption all around me
    But I WILL NOT turn back and live in sin.

    I know every time the devil brings me down
    I'll get up boldly speaking God's Word,
    The devil can't control me in any way
    For I believe in the Word I've heard.

    I can do all things through Christ
    I speak that EVERY DAY,
    So guess what devil, you are at the wrong door
    If you think you're gonna win this day.

    So Lord, please guide me, direct me, protect me
    Please bless EVERYTHING I touch,
    This year I will NEVER take my eyes of You
    Cause I've learned to love You that much.
