    On the Day I Got Saved

     On the day I got saved and received the Lord
    I thought my life would flow with ease,
    Then came the haters, the jealous, unbelievers
    Whom the Word will never please.

    For you're now no longer in the world
    Or a part of the sin within,
    Receiving Christ is ending the old
    So the new you can begin.

    You are now also a soldier for Christ
    Who the devil just cannot stand,
    His attacks are because you love the Lord
    And that you MUST understand.

    For now God's light shines bright through you
    To bless everyone you touch,
    The devi's attacks with the hope one day
    You'll stop loving the Lord so much.

    But that'll never happen devil, get it straight now 
    Cause of all God's brought me through,
    As there'll never ever be a cold day in hell
    I'll never bow down to you.
