    Longing For Love
    Loneliness, emptiness, longing for love
    Longing for a special one,
    Tired of dating and wondering when
    I will finally meet someone.
    “There is a time to love” in life
    “A time to weep,” that’s true.
    But the pain of loneliness is wearing me down
    And I don’t know what to do.
    Lord, take this void away from me
    And fill me with Your love.
    I know there’s hope and I have faith
    In my heavenly Father above.
    Let Your essence fill this void
    And open my eyes to see,
    The one who is to be my love
    And share their life with me.
    I know it’s written in Your Word
    That love can conquer all,
    I believe I will find happiness
    And that love will answer my call.

    I too believe that Love will conquer all, but I believe it is His Love. Beautiful words, yet sad. I have chosen to be alone and find no greater company than our God. I pray for you to find your freedom in Him. When I needed someone, no one came. When I chose to need no one but HIm, love arrived, but alas it has ALWAYS led to sorrow. God Bless you, Poet.
