    Spiritual Warfare
    Tick tock round the clock
    There are spirits all around.
    Good and evil forever at war
    Yet we don't hear a sound.
    Spiritual warfare is alive and well
    As forces battle each other.
    But the way we see it in our world
    Is how we treat each other.
    Corruption, murder, suicide
    Is violence at its best.
    Cursing, fighting, disrespect
    All caused by spiritual unrest.
    Don't be so quick to judge someone
    Whose temper can't be controlled.
    It could be the spirit within that one
    Who needs to be consoled.
    "Resist the devil and he'll flee from you"
    There's really no need to fear.
    Keep your hedge of protection on hand
    Cause God is the real boss here.
    (

    I challenge you to see spirit in a different light...mortals have to ways to understand Spirit....that which resides in the clay one calls home or body...and the other and idea of sorts.......Spirit of Christmas...School Spirit... So when you read your Bible and it states that The Brightstar cast out evil spirits and devils...they are quite different in that Devils arepremortal bodied egoes and spirits are well............ideas.

    Thanks for your response. However, the spirits I write about in this poem are those mentioned in Eph. 6:12, listed as principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual hosts of wickedness which motivate and insight the dark behavior I speak about - as they battle against the Holy Spirit within us which seeks to help us stay on the path and live right. Thanks again.
