Halloween Cheer a Night with Fear
There comes a night we should fear
Some celebrate the night with so much cheer,
Passing their tricks and treats with care
Not knowing the darkness who’s night they share.
They dare to touch what shouldn’t be touched
The demons who lurk, hands tightly clutched,
Worshipping the darkness and screams unheard
From those who’re lost – not knowing the Word.
Trapped in the dark, can’t find their way
From the evil partaken too much one day,
And found themselves in a world so deep
Down in the trenches their soul he’ll keep.
Can’t find a prayer or even a scream
No positive thought not even a dream?
Is there no hope for a soul who’s lost?
Will you dare to save him at any cost?
But still we celebrate the night with ease
Dressed like the creatures who cause dis-ease,
For soon we’ll know what lurks out of sight
And it won’t be on a Halloween night.
