Thinking About the Ones We've Lost
At times I think about the ones we've lostWe never had a clue they were alone,
That there could have been help to ease their pain
But now it's too late for now they're gone.
Gone before knowing about the peace of mind
That was missing in their life,
Could have been the one thing needed most
That could have brought an end to their strife.
Mental illness is real and all around
It's devastation is not joke,
So many are left all by themselves
Not able to bare the heavy yoke.
Lord help me not to be filled with guilt
If I can't save every soul,
I want so much to share your Light
Cause the world can be so cold.
So I'll continue to do my very best
To help and be more aware,
Cause sometimes the ones who need us most
Is among those for whom we care.
