    Poem Commentary

    This poem is written to be old school rapping style which is soon to be recorded. It evolved out of lyrics originally written back in 1981 when I tried to make the original poem fit to the current music for this piece.

    (VERSE )
    When are gonna to get this world together

    So all men can live free,

    When are we gonna to make this a better place 

    The way it's supposed to be.

    Things getting worse each and every day,

    Workin' hard not to lose your hope.

    Think about the ones who lost their lives

    Cause they couldn't find a way to cope.

     

    Don’t you understand our plight?

    There's not enough love in the world we live.

    Don’t you understand the fight?

    It’s not about you, it’s time to give!

    Don’t you understand that peace

    Is yours if you only change your mind.

    Don’t understand that Jesus

    Is the one true friend you really need to find.


    (CHORUS)

    Walk in His will, walk in His way

    Jesus Christ is the only way.

    Looking around for some peace of mind

    Jesus Christ is the only kind.

    No need to fret, no need to fear

    Jesus Christ is always near.

    No need to deal with pain and strife

    Ask Him to come in to your life.

    When we gonna try to start living in peace

    Stop hating and let it go.

    When we gonna to start teaching love

    So the hate won't grow.

    We got to get it together, time's running out

    The Lord ain't playing around.

    We all gonna see on Judgment day

    God's wrath is gonna come down.

    Loved the flow of this. I could feel the beat of the words and thought hey this would make a good song. Then I read in your commentary that this was in the making for a rap song. Hope the song is a hit for you because the message that you are sending out for Jesus Christ in the words written here is a blessing for all the world to hear. God Bless You and your wor. Randy
