    Stop Fighting Me - NOW!!

     Stop fighting me right now, get out of my head
    Talking to me, myself and I,
    Sometimes I'm the one who is so unstable
    O Lord, please show me how.

    One day I'm so on fire for You
    On the Word and standing tall,
    Then on another day, I have fallen from grace
    Feeling like I 've lost it ALL.

    Self, I'm talking to you right now
    My unfaithful ways MUST go,
    I've got to get my life on track
    To please God the only way I know.

    And that's to love on You, trust in You
    Look to You in times of need,
    Giving every part of my life to You
    Doing that I will succeed.

    Old ways, you get back under my feet
    I am NOT going back to those days,
    When I had the nerve to think sin was fun
    Which could have taken me out so many ways.

    Stop fighting me, now - you better get a grip
    You're not pulling me down with you,
    For now Iive my life for Christ
    Old ways!  You and me are through.
