Angels Unaware
Be careful how you treat someone
When you show them you don’t care.
You’ll never know when the one you shun
Is an angel unaware.
They walk among us to and fro
Give help in time of need.
They’re here to help us many ways
They’ll help us to succeed.
Just because they’re not in sight
Don’t take their presence lightly.
You’ll never know what danger lurks
Which they dispose of nightly.
A swerving car knocked back on track
Stray bullets pass on by.
All kinds of things could’ve ended your life
Did you ever wonder why?
Don’t waste the angels appointed to you
They’re with you everywhere.
Just remember next time you’re being rude
It may be an angel unaware.
