I Only Find Peace in You, O Lord!

There are no word to expresss the pain
When a loved one passes away,
The only thing that I hold on to
Is knowing they're with the Lord this day.

There's no embrace or loving words
That will take away the pain,
I find myself going to the Word
Reading it over and over again.

The bleeding heart at times of loss
You really can't ever prepare,
Even when you know that time is near
The only thing that helps is prayer.

Knowing they're with our Lord and Savior
Is all that brings us joy,
Staying in prayer as the tears won't cease
It's the Word we MUST employ.

Lord, I know in the Word You say
That you heal the broken-hearted,
Every time I feel I'm in control
My tears come back to where I started.

I only find peace in You, O Lord
Only You can ease this pain,
For in the end we know for sure
We'll all be together again.
