Know Who You Are in Christ

Each day I feel dark spirits try to come and torment me
But I guess they forgot that I have been set free,
Free from the darkness and all that is within
Doing it's best to pull me back into a life of sin.

I look not at the spirits that are coming after me
Who have no power over my authority,
Power over everything the devil throws my way
In the name of Jesus is all I have to say.

We cannot ever forget or ever refuse to use
The authority that we have or need to choose,
Or else we'll find ourselves in a struggle once again
Losing the battle against our flesh that wants to sin.

For the  power we have inside of us is there for us to use
Against every adversary, every foe,
Knowing you have the victory every time you use His name
Gives you victory EVERYWHERE that you may go.

So know who you are in Christ, no fear can come your way
Be fearless as you walk throughout your day,
Doesn't matter when the devil tries his best to pull you down
God is by my side and always leads the way.
