Choose Darkness or the Light?

The truth about the darkness 
That we feel from day to day,
It's the only weapon the devil has
The card he has to play.

For you see he can't make us do a single thing
Though he acts like he's got power,
Until he know you really know
That God is our real strong tower.

So he uses the darkness to try to deceive
To get you to listen to the lies he will tell,
Knowing that if you will listen to him
Will secure your place in hell.

The darkness has but one main goal
To pull you out of God's light,
The light where yes, God's grace abounds
And will make everything alright.

But what else is new, he's already lost
Seeking to destroy everything he can,
And he will go on and on each day
Set to destroy our fellow man.

So yes the darkness does exist
But it's no match for the Light.
The one in our life that we look at most
Determines which one will shine bright.
