    Those Thoughts Not of God

     If thoughts in your mind are not of God
    You've got to get them out,
    Evict those thoughts that are trying to get in
    For they will surely cause doubt. 

    Don't entertain the thoughts of this world
    They will surely bring you down,
    Lust, fear  and hopelessness 
    In the heaviness you will drown.

    If thoughts in your mind are not of God 
    Don't give them the time of day,
    For as soon as you take your mind off God 
    Your mind will surely pay.

    Inundated by thoughts of doubt
    Overwhelmed by thoughts of fear,
    All because you forgot to remember 
    That Jesus is ALWAYS here.

    No need to ever entertain those thoughts
    When Jesus gave us power,
    Power and authority in His name
    For He is our strong tower. 

    So remember whenever thoughts not of God
    Try to enter into your mind,
    Keep your mind stayed on the Lord
    Whose peace is one of a kind.
