    Halfhearted
    Swallowing this atmosphere
    wrapped up in despair
    to the horizon line,
    hope has gone underground

    Yet optimism is around
    in a faint heart beat,
    feelings so bitter sweet
    blooming reminders,
    scattered on the ground

    Animosity forgotten
    beneath an azure sky,
    another problematic front,
    lost in vague subtlety
    a half meant caress,
    born from duress,
    insignificant, halfhearted goodbyes
