Never Suspected
Photographs of you
accusations flashing fire
with the wrong words
wrapped up in the world
Pressure too tight
skull is throbbing
release the guess work
onto a sleeping public
Brown sugar in the coffee again
a certain cavity defiled
beneath the meekness
rests the audacious child
Never suspected
cracks in the veneer
a blanketed expression
should face the fear
Partner expired
unsatisfactory conclusion
wandering in a tunnel
lost in some grand delusion
Want to bathe in the light
forgotten in a world so uptight
but gray merges quite sallow
becoming one with the shadows
