The Sun Won't Shine Ever Again
Beside myself
lost in some inner vision
with no need for disguise
open wound
blackened room
might as well be
encased and tombed
look at me
what do you see
restless misdirection
untapped creative energy
spilling paint
life like canvas
taunt with stress
she put it there
now acts like she never cared
the familiar is now alien
similarity undone forever
sometimes its best to sever
riding out this stormy weather
best laid intentions
meant only to pacify
watching the skies
hearing seagulls cries
reality has lost its edge
society rears its ugly head
so kiss me
where the sun won't shine
ever again
