The Driving Force
Arguing once again
being blamed for everything
under the sun
so there is no doubt
about anything at all
Making it up as the stories develop
hoping once it reaches these ears
It'll simply blow up
or maybe just implode,
inciting another foe
There is one in every town
in pieces, pummeled to the ground
these eyes held the innocence of a child
from a muted scream
floating down some polluted stream
What is the value of a wayward life?
facing hateful calamities and strife?
wanting to pull all these strings
every conceivable way,
until the driving forces just dissipate?
