Sibling Rivalry
Thanks for making me out as the monster
Now all your friends and neighbors
look at me differently
when I'm the same as I was
just a moment before
I'm not putting on a front
nor making this up
as some dramatic stunt
So don't make me the brunt
of your twisted humor
You’re the sad joke
who can't even cope
She settled for
the first miscreant
who rolled her on the floor
I'll barricade myself
in this room
Because at least behind a locked door
I won't apologize
Since you're getting everything
you ever asked for
Karma is a fickle bitch
Frustrated, it’s fated
Are we still even related?
Acting like I'm a total stranger
yet still I am reborn
Looking past your scorn
Waiting for a perfect day
when I don't feel this need to mourn
Maybe it's better this way,
Anyway, you've been warned
Its war
