Clouds and Secrecy
He is a stranger
relishing the thought of danger
nothing is ever truly safe
those that preach passivity
tend to be pathetic fakes
How can the world turn back
when it never will be the same?
Only the mirrored reflection
shows the day to day erosion
how Time kisses his face
like a shoreline and the ocean
Take a little piece away
it may return some day
but don't hold one's breath
it might just be a natural death
He watches the skies
yet another front angrily arrives
cloaked in clouds and secrecy
empty, clammy promises
nothing more than transparent ghosts
trying to keep mysteries alive
