Here is a brief biodata of the poet as well on her writing skills

Dr.Mrs.S.Radhamani was born in Madras in the year 1949, on the 30th of Junedid B.A English Liteature,in the Ethiraj college for women,Chennai,and obtained the degree in the year 1969,was awarded M.A. from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, in the year 1973, did doctoral research on The Plays of W.H.Auden and got Ph.D in the year 1987;subsequently did Post-graduate Certificate (PGDCE leading to the Post-Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English (PGDTE)in Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad. She joined as assistant Professor of English In chellammal women’s college in the year 1975. After having served nearly two decades in Chellammal women’s college of the Pachiayappa’s Trust, Madras she joined the department of English Pachiyappa’s College- a post-graduate and research institution of the same Trust.

A Professor of English with thirty one 31 years of teaching experience in a post-graduate and research institution, published four books of poems and one book of short story, widely published and anthologized, guiding M.phil research scholars and PhD candidates, recently on VRS. Also a reviewer and critic. Also published poems and short stories in many websites,presented papers in National and International conferences.

As for her writing skills her writing career started some fifteen years ago, it all began with her scribbling in a note pad showing all her anger and fury on her colleague who was an expert in taunting her –a sort of sadism you see from which she could never release her self even today. In the early stage of her creativity she used to meticulously write down as inspiration and ideas flow; wherever she was, be it dining table or moving bus. Later on the thought process and writing process had a turn: if it were to be poetry or Picturisation or a particular idea or theme she would register in her mind and later on convert them into a shape.
With the passage of years, time constraint and she should candidly admit that lack of patience had an impinging effect on her modus operandi.As for as the prose writing and short stories are concerned she would frame a topography of the descriptions and characters in her mind and start with the computers –a sort of impromptu that is how her stories have been given shape. Happily married to a husband who is also an academician and blessed with three sons she lives in Chennai
