HI Tierra, I haven't been here much since the "exodus." I tried staying and making another set of "friends" but it seemed everyone just wanted to post their own stuff and not read much of others. So I reinvested elsewhere. the past couple of months I have been workiing on a book looking at the Ten Commandments. It is "done" in the snese I have completed the ten chapters I had envisioned. NOw a few friends are looking it over before I seek to publish it. And I will add an acknowledgment page, and a preface, etc. But that is one reason why I haven't posted anywhere recently. But I have written a fe w[oems this spring, just haven't mustered them onto a web page as yet. Be well, Harv

Yea me too I've been at a site that is truly incredible and puts all others I've been on to shame..hopefully the board here will light up with all regulars..it would be nice to see familiar faces.. in regards to your book...that's awesome to Hear.. . my best to you on that!! I've been visiting and posting at Poet's Expression, but that site has cooled with respect to overal activity. How is the health of your hawaiian friend? Also, I am posting at 21st Century Poets.com I woud like to see you there soon. Re: nastiness et al, write some new stuff to reflect the depravity and vice that seems to mirror the comunity of the other village amongst us.

The task of good writing, as I have approached it, is to take a valid subject, or idea, and write first to arouse attention, and then hold it to the end in such a way readers feel rewarded rather than used.
