Juicy Fruit
Tired of reading magazines?
Tangerines, eat tangerines.
I think of all those lost love scenes
Whenever I suck tangerines.
Suck that sweet slow dripping juice
While your heart’s out on the loose
Hangman waits to snug that noose
Lime’s a crime I must adduce.
How the orange slants it’s favor
With populist opinion flavor
Years since there was any hint of waver
Clementines were just meant to savor.
Once upon a grapefuit squirt
I rubbed my eye because it hurt
When wetness left a see-thru shirt
But, oh what fun it was to flirt!
Remnant citrus, don’t forsake
Citreon rind is there to take
So take that taste and with it make
Your favorite slice of Christmas cake.
