The Conception Of Thought
The Word, the Holy Word
Elevated above all else.
First, foremost and utterly ineffable
From which all else finds emanation.
Simple, yet so profound
The Father of every form,
Once singular, silent and self-contained
This fertile seed expanded outward,
Giving birth to the heavens above
And in course to this earth below.
Thus the splendors of this world were born,
Made complete with man and woman
Who took notice but gave no praise.
Deep within the first garden
The children frolicked, wandered and roamed
Unaware of self as self
With only the Conception of thought;
To be was to do, and to do was to be
Time came that they stumbled
Upon the Serpent Tree
Central to this forest Kingdom,
Ripe with forbidden fruit.
Here the hunger for
All things known, elicited Eve.
Adam aroused, desired
To taste this exquisite apple.
From this bite germinated
The Birth of Consciousness
Knowledge of all things
Both good and evil.
Word in its infinite form
Was made manifest to humankind.
Aware of the self within existence
Woman and Man stepped out and away
From the Garden moving forward
Into this Bold New World
Knowing things now that should
Never be told or uttered.
Elevated above all else.
First, foremost and utterly ineffable
From which all else finds emanation.
Simple, yet so profound
The Father of every form,
Once singular, silent and self-contained
This fertile seed expanded outward,
Giving birth to the heavens above
