Sins Of The Father
I am Adam, I am Cain,
I am Abraham, and all those thereafter.
I have wandered for eons
Through the thorny thickets,
And oily, inky quagmires
Of generational resolution
To arrive at this allocated destination.
I am King, I am Commander,
I am Lord of all that transpires.
I have given of my seed
Through the barbed battlefields
And soft, supple surrenders
Onto hundreds of thousands,
To create this next fruit of existence.
I am void, I am nothing,
I am absence in all who never existed.
I have been halted in my entrance
Through the steely incisions
And sordid stained decisions
Of unformed possibilities,
To deny the spark bore of conception.
I am , That I am.
I am, with all that entails.
I have eaten of the apple
Through to forgiveness at the calvary cross.
I shed sin like snake skins
On the shoulders of so many Fathers and Sons,
To bring about Heaven's mercy at my conclusion.
I am Abraham, and all those thereafter.
I have wandered for eons
Through the thorny thickets,
And oily, inky quagmires
Of generational resolution
To arrive at this allocated destination.
I am King, I am Commander,
I am Lord of all that transpires.
I have given of my seed
Through the barbed battlefields
And soft, supple surrenders
Onto hundreds of thousands,
To create this next fruit of existence.
I am void, I am nothing,
I am absence in all who never existed.
I have been halted in my entrance
Through the steely incisions
And sordid stained decisions
Of unformed possibilities,
To deny the spark bore of conception.
I am , That I am.
I am, with all that entails.
I have eaten of the apple
Through to forgiveness at the calvary cross.
I shed sin like snake skins
On the shoulders of so many Fathers and Sons,
To bring about Heaven's mercy at my conclusion.
