Insipid Dawn
Words like little graces
Blossom and bloom about me.
With effervescent charm
The alarm is sounded!
Bugles brass and bold
Chime high the challenge.
I lie, unmoved
Intoxicated with a lifeless elixir.
I see like dreams
A drowse made haze
Of landscapes.
Delusion filled, children shrill
On the playground of possibilities.
Insidious clowns, exaggerate frowns
Tempting my fate with teardrops
Torn, worn and weary
I summon strength to leave
This livid Leviathan.
Insipid dawn, languid drawn
Rises above my telltale intentions,
Order obliterated
Under these chaotic confines
Of mind.
Maniacal meandering
Seems my only means of motion.
Thus I thrust,
While I cantor the banter,
With a just and virile joust.
Blossom and bloom about me.
With effervescent charm
The alarm is sounded!
Bugles brass and bold
Chime high the challenge.
I lie, unmoved
Intoxicated with a lifeless elixir.
I see like dreams
A drowse made haze
Of landscapes.
Delusion filled, children shrill
On the playground of possibilities.
Insidious clowns, exaggerate frowns
Tempting my fate with teardrops
Torn, worn and weary
I summon strength to leave
This livid Leviathan.
Insipid dawn, languid drawn
Rises above my telltale intentions,
Order obliterated
Under these chaotic confines
Of mind.
Maniacal meandering
Seems my only means of motion.
Thus I thrust,
While I cantor the banter,
With a just and virile joust.
