My Ruby Rose
In your early morning glory.
When the Sun splits the spectrum,
The dew of your beauty sparkles.
I sigh at the marvels, from your
Sights and scents imparted.
Your form, bright ruby red,
How you burgeon as a bouquet.
Blossoms bloom within the wonders
Of your fine, well kept garden.
Such aphrodisiac gifts in-satiate
Even my most hardened senses.
Firmly rooted in healthy soil,
Upward your strong stems,
Wind, climb, and curl.
Strict thorns are there to remind
Any onlooker, you are not
For the casual connoisseur.
I praise heaven, the blessed day,
My sight, you overwhelmed .
When by chance
Upon my path you came.
You offered up April essences,
From such soft, supple,
Rose petals of red.
As a boutonniere
I carry you within my heart
Where your endearment
Will forever stay.
When the Sun splits the spectrum,
The dew of your beauty sparkles.
I sigh at the marvels, from your
Sights and scents imparted.
Your form, bright ruby red,
How you burgeon as a bouquet.
Blossoms bloom within the wonders
Of your fine, well kept garden.
Such aphrodisiac gifts in-satiate
Even my most hardened senses.
Firmly rooted in healthy soil,
Upward your strong stems,
Wind, climb, and curl.
Strict thorns are there to remind
Any onlooker, you are not
For the casual connoisseur.
I praise heaven, the blessed day,
My sight, you overwhelmed .
When by chance
Upon my path you came.
You offered up April essences,
From such soft, supple,
Rose petals of red.
As a boutonniere
I carry you within my heart
Where your endearment
Will forever stay.
