You Found Me (Once Again)
Transported through the doors of a local coffee bar
You entered back from the ages of our may lives.
We gazed in open recognition upon re-greeting.
Feeling a wild intangible shine grow behind our smiles
It seemed there passed between us the rush of a soft wind
As we sat across from one another with a grace so kind.
Somehow we knew within this chance encounter
We carried together a ceaseless flame that stretched over time.
I soon called you a short hour later timid and mild
Uncertain how to say 'welcome back into my life old friend".
I wanted just the perfect words to send you a returning kiss,
To tell you, what I couldn't express. but welled deep within.
With each passing greeting over the many weeks and months
Our attraction began to grow slowly yet again .
Carefully we tended our garden nurtured with time and truth.
We knew now we had found one another, our touch held the proof
With a flickered spark our undying flame was lit anew,
Then like a burst of spring our amour ceaslessly bloomed.
With our love rekindled we set ablaze the perennial flame between our lives.
We clutched as if forever, once back inside each other's arms, here we always did reside
We mingled inside our vast unfolding mystery, so deep It could no longer be denied.
Our love again had taken root, like entangled vines, to create our eternal wine.
You entered back from the ages of our may lives.
We gazed in open recognition upon re-greeting.
Feeling a wild intangible shine grow behind our smiles
It seemed there passed between us the rush of a soft wind
As we sat across from one another with a grace so kind.
