    The Blood Of A Woman
    In contrast to himself
    Man found completion
    In a fluid comporting form.
    By an urgent conspirators charm
    He was asked to be
    Other than he believed
    Himself to be.

    As if mesmerized by music,
    Snake charmed, his layers loosened.
    Through each new lesson
    While at his master's mercy
    He discarded skins
    Like the blood of a woman.
    He followed the process
    Through to completion
    To bring about
    The center core that is man
    To shed light on all that is human.

    There are many indirect references to Eden, Eve, Adam and original sin that float through this piece. It is visually strong and you show such skill with your use of language, not only in this poem but all that I have read so far. He discards skins like the blood of a woman - is a powerful statement. It sends all kinds of messages to your reader. Powerful work in this one. ~Pamela

    I do tend to work in motifs like a painter doing a subject study. I follow a concept until it resolves or exhausts itself out in use as self understanding or conceptual understanding.
