Secret Garden
With a court jester smile
And a trick bag of sentimentality,
You danced with a Sarah type temptation
Across my stone temple entresol.
Suggestions flew from your sultry smirk
Like little wild birds released
To glide high toward a perfect perch.
It was there, you knew
I would pursue the point,
And find refuge somewhere inside
Your conversive secret garden.
I held back a word, my thoughts,
A gesture, a relinquished desire.
Then like a mighty cedar, crashing earthward
For Salomon, you cut me down to size.
I attempted to dispel the growing rapture
But instead placed pressure toward
Some undeniable primitive pleasure.
With your engendered mounting urgency,
I found myself intoxicated further still,
Until utter submission became
My only viable option.
And a trick bag of sentimentality,
You danced with a Sarah type temptation
Across my stone temple entresol.
Suggestions flew from your sultry smirk
Like little wild birds released
To glide high toward a perfect perch.
It was there, you knew
I would pursue the point,
And find refuge somewhere inside
Your conversive secret garden.
I held back a word, my thoughts,
A gesture, a relinquished desire.
Then like a mighty cedar, crashing earthward
For Salomon, you cut me down to size.
I attempted to dispel the growing rapture
But instead placed pressure toward
Some undeniable primitive pleasure.
With your engendered mounting urgency,
I found myself intoxicated further still,
Until utter submission became
My only viable option.
