The Sea
I love to sit and view the sea.
It can be wild with storm cloud screen,
Or full of life , to me unseen.
It fills me with a child-like glee.
Home, an inland lake, not the sea.
Like a lemming I seek serene
Freedom in that watery scene.
Driftwood a necklace, not debris!
There are many moods to the sea.
At times it is aquamarine
Fading later to deeper green.
After sunset all colors flee.
Aquamarine seas seems to flee
When green screens the unseen scene;
And I leave that place still serene
Happiness a debris from that sea!
