    The bite of the byte

    Let us think for a bit

    about the bit.

    Now I don’t mean that boring

    Tool the bit,

    I mean the bit

    With which we make a byte…

    (Usually eight bits to the byte)

    now one form of that bit

    is nothing…

    and one knows the other is one.

     

    Sometimes the byte is

    Made out of the stuff

    In-between nothing and one,

    But one knows that,

    Doesn’t one?
