Let’s Pretend
Once upon a time (a long time ago).
There was a radio program on Saturday morning,
called “Let’s Pretend”.
(fade in Allegretto from Karel Komzak’s “Fairy Tale”)
Let’s pretend that there once a Rabbi
Who was killed and
His family and a few friends fled to distant Gaul.
They were cared for by a group of Jewish heretics.
Later, they move on to Mercia.
Much later the Knights Templar found out a secret and
They told the pope,
Who had them hunted down and slaughtered.
(he didn’t like the secret)
a few knights escaped and formed what they called the masons.
(fade in music for “Cream of Wheat”)
Now there was a lot of confusion in those days.
So the masons hid the secret with
The three degrees above
The three degrees above
The three degrees they told people about.
Let’s pretend that the secret that they hid there
Was
That they had lost the secret,
But that it told where the
Seed of the Rabbi
Lived!
Now,
Let’s pretend
That you, my friend,
Are the secret.
What do you say , My Lord?
