Pursuing Hearts
Seeking the most treasured gift,
searching every heart, everywhere,
no mountain is too high,
for His cross to bear.
Whether at the break of mourning,
or in the dead of night,
He always keeps us close,
we're never out of sight.
He calls us His children,
He made us with care,
His love is abundant,
evidence is everywhere.
God writes love letters,
He's written them to you too,
God writes upon the sky,
He signs everyone, "I love you."
The mystery of His universe,
it is not so deep,
each one of us is special,
He created us unique.
Greet each morning,
as the new day dawns,
get up and say,
"okay Dad, let's get it on."
Before you lie down tonight,
say this little prayer,
"I love you Father,
thank you for being so fair."
For He sent His son to die,
in Heaven is where He lies,
in each new tomorrow,
give thanks for the Son rise.
