New Fallen Snow - (Dream of My Life)
Woke up this morn’,
darkness all around,
lept’ up, out of bed,
(hit my head),
with a bound.
Where, who, what,
felt so real,
saw me, saw you,
(multi-colored hue),
the whole deal.
Dream in the night,
or dream of my life,
joy so abundant, full,
(smiles seem the rule),
so full of strife.
That is the dream,
the dream of my life,
valleys, thru mountain tops,
(no mom, no pops),
no longer have a wife.
(again) I woke up in darkness,
got up, out of bed,
tired feet, sore back,
(like a railroad track),
oh, my aching head.
Off, into the day,
again, there I go,
who shall I meet,
(smiling will I greet),
there’s a chill, new fallen snow.
