No One Answered That Day
While calling your name,
ashes and tears fell,
whispers grew into screams,
as earth became hell.
Searching low, now even lower,
no more Twin's too high,
facing the future,
not wanting to bid you good-bye.
Your laughter and infecteous smile,
stretched many a country mile,
blessing others simply as you were,
to you it did not even occur.
Still calling out,
high above the crowd,
no one answers back,
no matter how loud.
Before parting,
always did we express,
our deepest love,
and nothing less,
so no fear or dispair,
no not any regret,
never will we ever,
lest we not forget.
In these parting words,
may I compassionately say,
how much I miss you,
for no one answered that day.
