Abide Awhile
Rest my child,
in my grace and truth,
abide awhile,
in my love and harmony.
Feel like family,
mi casa, es un casa,
in the house of the Lord,
rest my child.
Rest, rest, your tired and weary head,
your troubles will melt away,
let go of your worry, your strife,
that, which consumes the day.
Sleep, sleep, your mind and soul,
weighed heavy with burdens too many,
cast them on to distant shores,
lay them at the foot of the cross.
