Only a Few
Only a few journey the path,
down the river of life,
finding what life hath;
discovering an inner landscape,
'tween canyons deep,
from which they cannot escape;
knowing the day soon will come,
letting the river inside run, and run,
now not wanting the joy to be done;
only a few will ever find,
a place so perfect and fine,
recesses deep inside the mind;
those different from the rest,
they who are so blessed,
only they will find eternity's best.
