    Poem Commentary

Yeah, yeah, I know the last two didn't have alliterations, but that's the comedy...
and that three of them are technically assonances... But who cares, it's my poem...

    This poem's an alliteration

    an Incredibly Illustrious Idea
    Heaved Happily in His Head
    Post a Professionalistic Poem
    About An Animal, but instead
    He Clipped the Common Curfew
    and Delibaratly Decided in Doubt
    To Make a Marvelous Masterpeice
    And Author it All About
    A Bamboozledly Befuddled Bee
    or Neurotically Nastologic Nations
But he scrapped the idea and wrote
    a poem with alliterations

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
